A very easy and simple dish to make, with delicious results!
INGREDIENTS needed for 4 people:
- 1 sheet of empanada dough
- 500 g of mixed mushrooms
- 200 g of bacon
- 1 onion
- 1 egg
- Olive oil
- Pepper
- Thyme
- Salt
How to cook Mushroom and Bacon Empanadas
Step 1: Peel and chop the onion and clean the mushrooms and cut into even pieces.
Heat a frying pan with a splash of oil. Sauté the onion for a few minutes until it takes on color and add the mushrooms. Season and cook. Cut the bacon into very thin strips, add to the pan and fry.
Step 2: Preheat the oven to 180º C for a few minutes.
Meanwhile, roll out the dough and cut 4 discs with the help of a ring. Place on the plate on parchment paper and distribute the mushroom mixture in the center. Fold up the ends of the dough by turning the edges.
Step 3: Beat the egg yolk and brush the empanadas.
Put in the oven and bake about 15 minutes until the dough is golden.
Decorate with thyme.
